Ledgerline has three plans: Starter, Growth and Scale. You pay a monthly platform fee plus usage: ledger entries above your included amount and a fee for each payout. The sandbox is free on every plan.

Scale is priced by agreement. The starting platform fee is $2,500 per month, and larger volume, higher limits and custom terms change it.
Payout fees
Each payout is charged when it is created. Fees are per payout, not per amount.
| Rail | Starter | Growth | Scale |
|---|---|---|---|
ACH (ach) |
$0.50 | $0.25 | $0.10 |
Same-day ACH (ach_same_day) |
$1.00 | $0.60 | $0.35 |
Domestic wire (wire) |
$15.00 | $10.00 | $6.00 |
Instant (rtp, fednow, faster_payments, sepa_instant) |

Failed, canceled and returned payouts are refunded in full on the next invoice. Payouts that were paid and later returned are also refunded, because no money stayed with the recipient. Rails are described in Payment rails.
What counts as an entry
Every debit or credit line in a posted transaction counts as one ledger entry. A transaction with two entries counts as two. Pending transactions count when they post, and voided ones never count. Reversals count, since they create new entries. Reading data is always free and unlimited, apart from the rate limits.
Entries are metered per UTC calendar month. Your included amount does not roll over.
An example invoice
A Growth customer in September posts 620,000 entries and sends 3,000 ACH payouts and 400 same-day ACH payouts.
| Line | Calculation | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Platform fee | $499.00 | |
| Extra entries | (620,000 − 500,000) × $0.0015 | $180.00 |
| ACH payouts | 3,000 × $0.25 | $750.00 |
| Same-day ACH | 400 × $0.60 | $240.00 |
| Total | $1,669.00 |
Annual commitment
Committing to twelve months earns 15% off the platform fee on Growth and Scale. Usage fees are unchanged. The discount appears on each monthly invoice. Ask for it in Settings > Billing when you choose or change a plan.
Changing plans
- Upgrading takes effect immediately. The platform fee is prorated for the rest of the month, and new limits apply at once.
- Downgrading takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, so you keep the higher plan until then. If your usage or resources exceed the lower plan's quotas, the downgrade is blocked until you reduce them.
Support included in each plan
| Plan | Response to tickets |
|---|---|
| Starter | Within 2 business days, plus this help centre |
| Growth | Within 1 business day |
| Scale | Within 4 business hours, 24/7 for SEV1 incidents, and a named solutions engineer |
SEV1 is defined in Status and incidents, where the uptime commitments and service credits for each plan are described too.
Invoices
Billing happens monthly in arrears. See Invoices and billing for payment methods, terms and what happens when a payment fails.
